Designing for voice

Little Birdie is a text-to-speech app that creates an audio-focused experience for websites like Reddit, Twitter and LinkedIn. I worked with the cofounder and engineering team to help them work through complex user flows and eventually created their first iOS app and design system.
Little Birdie is still in its early stages, but the website is live and the app will be available soon for iOS.

Designing a compelling landing page
A startups's landing page is essential when promoting a product that is under development. This is the page we send customers to after clicking on our ads and it can have a huge impact on our advertising effectiveness. By following a few landing page best practices, we were able to decrease bounce rate by 30%.
- A marketing site should be relevant and reliable. Users needed to understand the product value within the first five seconds.
- We made the landing page trustworthy. This was part of developing a brand that was consistent throughout each ad and marketing content.
- Make it easy to navigate and useful. We focused on the most popular features and made browsing an easy and enjoyable experience. This also helped with optimizing for search.
